New channels for efficient data services in cdma2000

چکیده
Supporting high speed data applications has become one of the major goals of present day wireless network development. The principal focus of latest version of cdma2000 (Release C) has been to maximize the throughput for data users without affecting the performance of the voice users. This paper looks at the mechanism for supporting new channels to utilize the Forward Link resources most efficiently for high speed data applications with minimal effect on existing voice traffic.
